You’ll learn strategic alternatives like local partnerships\, referrals\, workshops\, and simple outreach ideas that actually work. \nBio: \n\nJaime Foster is an ICF-certified business coach\, Certified Health and Wellness Coach\, and Certified DISC Practitioner. She built a seven-figure wellness business from scratch and two additional six-figure coaching companies—without ever dancing on TikTok. Today\, she helps health and wellness coaches grow profitable\, soul-aligned businesses using timeless marketing strategies that don’t rely on trends or burnout.   \nAttendees will learn: \n\nThe top 5 marketing systems health and wellness coaches can use to grow their business without ads or social media.\nPractical outreach ideas and examples of what’s working for real coaches right now.\nHow to choose a marketing approach that fits your personality and nervous system\, so showing up feels natural—not forced.\n\nPersonal Insights: \nWhy are you passionate about this topic?\nI’ve built both a six-figure coaching business and a seven-figure wellness company from the ground up—starting with just $200 in my bank account. Along the way\, I learned that growth doesn’t come from chasing algorithms or posting 5 times a week; it comes from connection\, clarity\, and consistency. I’m passionate about helping other coaches skip the burnout and build a business that feels aligned with who they are. \nWhat do you hope attendees will gain from your session?\nI want every attendee to walk away with at least one clear\, practical step they can take today to start getting in front of their ideal clients. Your clients aren’t hiding from you—you might just be hiding from them! I’ll show you how to get visible in a way that feels authentic\, aligned with your values\, and supportive of your nervous system. \nThis session will provide 1 CE for all NBC-HWCs. \n\nCOST: \nNBC-HWC – FREE \nPublic – $25 \nRegister Here

SUMMARY:Insights into the Transtheoretical Model of Change in Practice
DESCRIPTION:Insights into the Transtheoretical Model of Change in Practice \nContent Area: \nCompetency 2: Theories\, Models\, and Approaches to Behavior Change – 2.2 Transtheoretical Model of Change (Stages of Change) \nEvent Description:  \nJoin us for an insightful session on the Transtheoretical Model of Change (TTM) and its practical application in coaching. This event will explore how stage-appropriate interventions reduce frustration\, prevent burnout\, and redefine what success truly looks like in behavior change work. Coaches will walk away with a clearer\, more sustainable approach that honors client autonomy while strengthening their own professional well-being. \nAttendees Will Learn:  \n\nRespecting client autonomy and protecting practitioner wellbeing are two sides of the same coin. \nStage-mismatched interventions are a driver of professional frustration and even burnout because they create repeated experiences of “failure”.\nSuccess is not moving through the stages—you’re not failing if a client in precontemplation doesn’t change behavior; you may be succeeding at exactly what that stage requires.\nStage-appropriate goals and responses describe what “effective practice” means—collaborating on different goal types at different stages is important.\nYou cannot control whether clients change\, but you can control whether your practice is sustainable. The TTM shifts your focus from outcomes you can’t control to processes you can control.\n\nSpeaker Bio: \nSimon Matthews FACLM\, FASLM\, MHlthSci\, DipIBLM\, MAPS\, NBC-HWC\, PCC  \nSimon is a psychologist and leadership coach with a particular interest in supporting healthcare leaders. He is also a certified coaching mentor and supervisor. He is a Fellow of both the American College and Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. SUMMARY:Deepening Cultural Humility Through Action: Practical Skills for Health & Wellness Coaches
DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\nDr. Rikki will offer practical guidance for developing greater self-awareness\, recognizing assumptions\, navigating cultural considerations\, and responding thoughtfully when differences or missteps arise within the coaching relationship. \nThe session aligns with the following NBHWC competencies: \nCompetency 1: Coaching Presence\, Relationships\, and Sessions \n1.2.2. Recognize that all biases influence coaching relationship\n1.2.3.3. Practice cultural humility \nCompetency 4: Ethics and Professional Practice \n 4.1.3. Develop ongoing reflective practices to deepen awareness and cultural humility\n 4.3.3. Honor diversity\, demonstrate dignity and respect for all people\, practice cultural humility \nA downloadable resource may accompany the event and include: \n\nA practical framework coaches can reference during client sessions\nStrategies for navigating cultural considerations in the moment\nGuidance for addressing assumptions\, cultural differences\, or missteps\n\nKey Takeaways\n\n\n\n1.\n\nCultural Humility Is an Action\, Not a Destination \nAttendees will leave understanding that cultural humility is not about achieving perfect cultural competence or mastering another person’s background. Instead\, it is a continuous practice of recognizing the limits of your own perspective\, remaining open to being wrong\, and actively seeking to understand clients on their own terms. Coaches will walk away with a shift in mindset: from “Am I culturally competent?” to “How do I stay curious and humble in this moment with this person?” \n\n\n\n2.\n\nYour Biased Automatic Thoughts Are the Real Barrier \nUsing the BATS™ framework\, participants will learn to identify and interrupt the unconscious thoughts and assumptions that derail genuine connection across difference. This session reveals that the moment a coach assumes based on visible identity markers\, without checking it they have stepped out of humility. Coaches will gain a concrete\, repeatable process to catch these moments in real time and redirect to authentic curiosity instead. \n\n\n\n3.\n\nSmall Behavioral Shifts Create Measurable Coaching Impact \nCultural humility is not abstract. It changes what coaches do and say in sessions. Attendees will learn specific moves: how to ask questions that don’t assume\, how to repair when you get it wrong\, how to name power dynamics without shying away\, and how to create space for clients to define their own experience. These practical skills directly strengthen the coach client relationship and improve outcomes\, especially with clients from marginalized or minoritized backgrounds. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCan’t Attend Live? No Registration Needed!\nTo help us keep live webinar seats available for those who plan to participate in real time\, please register only if you plan to attend the live webinar. \nIf you’re unable to attend live but would like to watch the recording\, there’s no need to register.
