Hosted by NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business, Human Capital Management Department and the NYU Coaching & Technology Summit

In the lead-up to the 5th Annual NYU Coaching & Tech Summit on June 15-16, Summit Host Dr. Anna Tavis speaks with experts in the field of health and wellbeing to learn how we can better integrate coaching and wellness into the workplace.

In this session, Dr. Anna Tavis welcomes Deanna Fournier, Executive Director of the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) and Dr. Jessica Singh, MD, NBC-HWC, ACC, developer of the new NYU SPS Certificate in Health and Well-being Coaching. Sponsored by the NYU Coaching & Technology Summit.

Health and wellness coaching is rapidly emerging as a workforce mandate, not a perk, as organizations confront rising burnout, disengagement, and chronic health challenges that directly impact performance. Today’s employees expect holistic support that integrates mental, physical, and emotional well-being into the fabric of work. Coaching provides a scalable, evidence-based approach to driving sustainable behavior change, resilience, and accountability across diverse teams. For employers, this translates into stronger retention, improved productivity, and a more adaptive, human-centered culture.

This conversation explores why forward-thinking organizations are embedding health and wellness coaching into their talent and leadership strategies, and why now is the moment to act.
