Need a extra time to complete your NBHWC Coaching Log?
Exam applicants who meet all other exam requirements prior to the application deadline can receive a Coaching Log Extension for a non-refundable $65 fee. Please see date below for the deadline by which your log will be due.
This extension only applies to the NBHWC Coaching Log. All other exam application documents, including ADA accommodation documentation, must be submitted prior to the application deadline. Incomplete applications will be denied.
Important Notes:
- You must be registered for the exam prior to paying the log extension fee.
- You will not be able to schedule your exam until you submit the completed log. Exam appointment availability reduces the closer the exam window is. NBHWC recommends turning in your completed log as soon as possible for the greatest chance of scheduling the exam at a time and location that is desirable.
- If you require ADA accommodations, please note that all accommodation paperwork is due on the application deadline. The coaching log extension is only applicable to the submission of the NBHWC Coaching Log.
Frequently asked questions
What if I fail to complete and submit the required 50 coaching sessions before the extension deadline?
If you fail to submit your log by the coaching log extension deadline, your application will be denied and you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The log extension fee is non-refundable.
I don’t see the log extension reflected on my application. What do I do?
NBHWC will apply the log extension to your application when we process your payment. This can take 2-3 business days. You do not need to contact NBHWC, we will make the appropriate changes to your application.
Should I click “submit” when I upload the proof of NBHWC Approved Program completion and the NBHWC Education Attestation form?
No, you should upload and save both of these documents by the application deadline but you do not need to click “submit” until you have uploaded your completed coaching log.
