The Certification Commission oversees and manages the development and implementation of the Health and Wellness Coaching Certification Examination (aka the “National Board Exam”) and recertification for NBC-HWCs. This commission’s responsibilities include the approval of eligibility requirements, examination dates, timelines, recertification requirements and analysis of test items. The commission is tasked with overseeing several standing committees that support the certifying exam as well as communication regarding procedures and operations for exam-related projects.
