The Finance Committee supports the NBHWC Board of Directors by maintaining accurate financial records, creating the operating budget, and providing financial data to the board so they can make timely decisions. This committee ensures that all fiduciary requirements are met with regards to federal, state, and other reporting requirements.

NBHWC’s Group Health and Wellness Coaching Committee was tasked with developing and validating competencies for group health and wellness coaching with the goal of advancing a unified standard for clinical practice, research, training and curriculum development in this area. A manuscript outlining the process and recommended competencies will be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal in the next few months, and hopefully available to all readers later this year. Once that manuscript is accepted, the competencies will be shared via the NBHWC website.
