Leanne Mauriello, PhD

Dr. Leanne Mauriello is a behavioral scientist and health psychologist who currently serves as Director of Lifestyle Medicine at Spectrum Health. Leanne is leading the transformation of an integrated healthcare system to bring lifestyle as medicine to the forefront of care and has led a team to build a best-in-class culinary medicine program and an innovative lifestyle medicine specialty practice headquartered in a teaching kitchen.  She has inspired health optimization by designing, testing and implementing engaging and effective behavior change solutions across industries. Leanne has contributed thought leadership through NIH funded research, scientific articles, book chapters and white papers, and hundreds of presentations, trainings, lectures, and interviews. Her passion is empowering successful and lasting change so that it is experienced as supportive, personalized, and relevant while being science-based, scalable and efficient.
